Two national and two international games were measured, taking Profile of Mood State (POMS; Wald & Mellenbergh, 1990) and cortisol measurements before and after these games. In addition four national games were measured, only taking POMS measurements and at the end of the season four play-off games including the finale were measured, taking only cortisol measurements.
